Technical Notes

The motherboard supports an Intel CPU with four DDR2 memory sockets.

If you purchase the optional A4S (socket 754 for AMD Athlon 64/Sempron processors) or A9S card (socket 939 for AMD Athlon 64/Athlon 64 FX processors) only the two DDR1 memory sockets on the card can be utilized, the DDR2 sockets on the motherboard are disabled.

MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.

Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers for Dual Channel mode.
